We all know the backseat driver, the person who has a lot of opinions on the way you drive. Annoying right? But what does that mean for the autonomous future? In a self-driving car there is no longer a driver to complain on – there will be a system instead. And we already have a lot of systems today that people are turning off because they find them annoying. This emphasizes the need for validation with the end user in mind – the systems need to be adapted for all different kinds of end users.
We at Semcon has been working with state-of-the-art development of Active Safety and ADAS for more than a decade alongside our leading customers. This means we have learned many key lessons and built the foundation for High Autonomous Driving (HAD). And now we have launched a new series of short talks with our experts in the field.
